Febi hydraulic valve lifter for the M42 and M50 engines. These lifter buckets can last 150,000+ miles but then they no longer fit on the valve stem correctly and a ticking or knocking noise can result. If the lifter is no longer seated correctly, it can lead to the valve not opening correctly. Replacement is straight-forward but requires special tools for working with the M50 camshafts.
