Tasked with keeping everything properly lubricated, the oiling system is one of the most if not THE most fundamental parts of the engine. Make sure that everything is in good working order and flowing properly to ensure your engine has a long and trouble-free service life.
The N54 engine is no stranger to oil cooling problems, that’s why we recommend installing the MSL Oil Thermostat. The standard oil thermostat will reach around 120 degrees Celsius with a normal driving style. The MSL Oil Thermostat will open at a lower temperature than the standard oil thermostat (at 85 degrees Celsius) and will keep the temperature stable between 95 and 105 degrees Celsius. Installing the MSL thermostat ensures a cooler oil temperature which will result in more stable performance, but above all this improves the reliability of the engine. It is recommended to install the thermostat, especially for cars that are tuned.

Add some beautiful carbon details to your engine bay starting with your oil filler cap! Made from high-quality autoclave pressed dry carbon, this cap is not has a consistent beautiful weave, its highly durable and can stand the test of time! Dry carbon fiber is formed using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to properly cure. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon. Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. On top of that they coat this product in a UV resistant coating extending the life of this cap significantly! Don't wait and get yours today! You will not be disappointed by the fit and finish!
