This kit contains the basic items required to replace your N55's valve cover, including the valve cover, valve cover gasket, CCV vent hose, and the Valvetronic flange gasket. We recommend replacing the entire valve cover whenever the plastic has begun to warp or crack, as it will then only be a matter of time until cracks form, leading to oil and vacuum leaks.

VTT created these for the B58 owner who wants to add a great look to their engine bay while also getting rid of the stock plastic valve cover which has problematic PCV systems and can crack with higher mileage. Valve covers can crack or warp over time, leading to vacuum and oil leaks. This can cause check engine lights, a rough idle, and can make a mess, often covering the attached engine accessories in oil. If your valve cover has cracked or warped, we highly recommend replacing it with this Genuine BMW valve cover assembly. This replacement valve cover comes with new gaskets, BMW p/n 11127886546 and 11128093559, and new mounting hardware to attach the valve cover to the cylinder head.

VTT created these for the S65 owner who wants to add a great look to their engine bay while also getting rid of the stock valve cover which are very problematic and can crack/leak/delaminate with higher mileage. Eliminating the leak-prone factory oil cap design with a threaded cap with O-ring Seal, VTT has also added two -10 ORB bungs which allow you complete freedom to plumb in a catch can, or vent system of your choice. The internal baffling is 100% in place to knock down any oil from the vapors before being expelled. Factory PCV has also been kept in place so these can be run in essentially any configuration required. 100% CNC 6061-T6 Aircraft aluminum construction Anodized in a variety of colors Lightweight; 9.7 lbs.
