This kit contains the basic items required to replace your N55's valve cover, including the valve cover, valve cover gasket, CCV vent hose, and the Valvetronic flange gasket. We recommend replacing the entire valve cover whenever the plastic has begun to warp or crack, as it will then only be a matter of time until cracks form, leading to oil and vacuum leaks.

Valve covers can crack or warp over time, leading to vacuum and oil leaks. This can cause check engine lights, a rough idle, and can make a mess, often covering the attached engine accessories in oil. If your valve cover has cracked or warped, we highly recommend replacing it with this Genuine BMW valve cover assembly. This replacement valve cover comes with new gaskets, BMW p/n 11127886546 and 11128093559, and new mounting hardware to attach the valve cover to the cylinder head.
