The non-Sport E82 128i did not come with a rear sway bar. If you're adding the Sport package bar or another aftermarket type you will need this additional package of mounting parts and rear swaybar links to complete the install. This package includes:

rear sway bar bushing brackets, 33556780707
bracket mounting screws, 07119907125
rear sway bar links, 33556764428
lower link mounting bolts, 07119903931
upper link mounting nuts, 33326768884

This kit also makes a nice package as part of a rear suspension overhaul.

The sway bar on your vehicle is essentially a connection between the left and right lower control arms. When you take a corner in your vehicle, the sway bars flex and rebound like a spring. Stock bars give a stock performance. If the sway bar links are broken or worn, the system doesn't work as it should.
