From the factory, engine and transmission mounts are rubber and thus a wear component. Worn out engine or transmission mounts create sloppiness and a disconnect between the driver and your BMW's powerplant. If your vehicle is purpose built for the track, we recommend solid engine and transmission mounts. These have zero deflection, but come at the expense of added NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). Poly engine and transmission mounts offer a good balance between OEM rubber and solid mounts for those with mixed purpose vehicles, offering great performance and connection with little sacrifice in terms of NVH.

This is the rear rubber-isolated differential mount. The diff mounts take the bulk of the twisting and binding as power is transmitted through the differential. We use a Meyle HD rubber bushing for the rear mount as it's stronger than the factory part. (33176751808). We also recommend replacing the front differential mount 33171093175MY at the same time.

Soft bushings are the enemy of launching hard, and keeping your drivetrain together. The BMW Transfer Case bushings are notoriously soft, and that is the opposite of what you want when launching a car hard. You can replace the bushing with a solid one, but this is time-consuming usually requires lowering or removing the transfer case, and results in a lot of added NVH. The best path is simply to reduce the amount of flex of the factory bushing so you keep the nice manners when cruising around town, and at idle, but when its time to the launch the transfer case cannot move as it could without the insert. These come as a set of two with 2 bolts to keep them in place. Install time once you get to them is about 2-3 minutes. Could not be easier. Put some lube on them, push them in, and tighten the screws. These are a MUST for high-power G8X, and F9X X3/X4M Builds. All platforms they fit are below. Instead of completely replacing the mount, simply make a billet aluminum insert for them. This leaves the feel of the factory mount in place but stiffens them up quite a bit removing unwanted engine movement without rattling your teeth out or emptying your wallet.

VTT noticed a hole in the F9X X3/4M market for a high-quality, lightweight, NVH-friendly, and easy-to-install Diff Lock Down kit to improve diff stability under launching, and hard cornering. So we did something about it and went to work on a very innovative design that 100% positively locks the diff down from movement, while shielding it from adding a ton of NVH, and can be used with the stock diff, and subframe bushings. This design uses existing mounting points on the vehicle, you do NOT have to remove the subframe or the Diff to install. Simply remove 4 differential bolts, drill two holes in the subframe slightly bigger, install two M8 riv-nuts, and install the lockdown, you do not even have to move the exhaust. A typical install can be 30-45 minutes for someone who is experienced working on vehicles, an hour or two if you like taking it slow. Features: Lightweight 1.5 lbs for the entire lockdown plate Uses FOUR connection points on the Diff, and three on the subframe for the ultimate in positive diff location, this will stop all diff movement on launch, saving your guibos, etc 100% Billet construction from 6061-T6 aluminum Anodized in 3 colors for corrosion resistance, a long-lasting finish, and good looks The subframe does NOT have to be removed for installation Uses all 12.9 grade hardware Does not add excessive NVH Positively locks down the diff to eliminate all unwanted movement under launches, acceleration, cornering, etc.
