These are the best rear shock mounts that we have found for the E30, E36, E46, Z3 & E85 Z4! Featuring CNC-machined billet aluminum mounting base with a replaceable urethane bushing (replacement bushings are just $15 and are changed in minutes!). These mounts are excellent for either street or track because of their low NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). Plus, the superior design will far outlast the life of stock mounts - maybe even the car itself. You'll never think twice about your shock mounts again! These shock mounts are a direct replacement of the stock mounts so they fit all shocks with the BMW-standard 10mm shock shaft, including all factory and OEM shocks (Boge, Sachs, etc), H&R coil overs, Bilstein shocks and PSS, PSS9, PSS10 coil overs (except the B16 Ride Control Kit). This is sold as a package with new shock mount gaskets, washers, and Nyloc nuts.

Must re-use factory cupped washers!

While replacing rear shocks it is a good idea to inspect / replace these mounts as the rubber can wear and crack over time. This mounts at the top of the rear shock and is held into the chassis with 3 bolts.

While it helped to improve ride quality it is not always the best for performance, and the self leveling system parts can be very expensive to replace. Our self leveling delete kit provides all the parts required to convert your E34 sedan to a standard type suspension. Shocks and Springs are sold separately. The bushings in the Aluminum Rear Shock Tower Mounts (#JTD909) and the Repair Shop Rear Shock Mounts (#JRDRP) are replacable. Simply disassemble the shocks and mounts, replace the bushings, and reassemble. On the JTD909 the shock mount doesn't even have to be removed from the chassis. This set includes enough bushings to replace bushings on both the left and right mounts (4 total).
