We took our popular Billet G8X strut bars and redesigned them to use genuine forged carbon fiber centers. No metal with ugly carbon overlay. This is a real carbon fiber strut bar with ends that are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, and anodized in Black, Red, or Clear.

While BMW did a beautiful job on the F9X X3/4M’s they sure decided to get cheap out on the strut bars. Ugly steel bars with no real pop or aesthetically pleasing qualities seem like an afterthought to such a well-thought-out car. Well, here at VTT we decided to do something about it, and immediately took our bars off, and let our engineers go to work on a solution. BMW's G80 and G82 M cars are arguably two of the best-built BMW chassis to date, but it does have a few shortcomings. One of the first design weaknesses many people notice right away are the ugly, simplistic front strut brace bars. With the level of detail put into the rest of the M3 and M4, these plain steel bars seem like an afterthought. Vargas Turbo Technologies felt there was major room for improvement and set out to design a new brace kit that is aesthetically pleasing while retaining the strength and fitment of the OE bars. The result is a beautiful, functional 3 piece design with an interlinking "V" bar and center support bar.
