Brake Fluid Reservoir

When swapping an M5X engine into your E30, interference between the intake manifold and brake booster-mounted reservoir is a common problem. Tighter clearance necessitates the use of a different brake booster, which means the brake fluid reservoir will need to be retrofitted or relocated. This is particularly difficult when using the larger, dual-diaphragm brake booster from an E32 or E34.

To solve this issue, we've designed a clean, OE-style solution that requires zero fabrication. Our stainless steel bracket relocates the brake fluid reservoir to the original, left-hand strut tower location, once used for mounting the M20's power steering fluid reservoir. This provides the clearance necessary for fitting an M50/S50, M52/S52, M54, or S54 in the engine bay of your E30.

Our 24V Swap Brake Fluid Reservoir Bracket was designed, engineered, tested, and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio, facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology, including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long-term product testing.
