The 3.0 Liter B58.2 turbo engine of the specified BMW/Toyota models is equipped with an indirect charge-air cooling circuit. So the cooling of the charged air is realized by a watercooled intercooler, which is integrated directly into the intake manifold. The WAGNERTUNING intake manifold with integrated intercooler has got a new performance core which was specially developed for the high requirements and individual mounting position of the B58.2 engine and offers 128% more external core volume compared to the original intercooler. The calculated ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates a maximum heat transfer and at the same time the best possible internal airflow. With the help of CFD simulations, the CNC-milled end tanks were designed for optimal airflow conditions. The result is an excellent cooling property with minimal back pressure. That`s why this kit is also perfect for racing use. An optimal cooling effect of the charged air with a significant increase in performance! All WAGNERTUNING radiators are equipped with a heat-conductive anti-corrosion coating to ensure a lasting cooling effect. The plug & play installation of the system is simple and easy to perform (an installation instruction is included as well). Vargas Turbo has released their very own BMW B58 vacuum/boost adapter. These go inline with the intake manifold fitting and provide a full boost/vacuum signal from the manifold. This fitting adds two 1/8" NPT bungs to accept any fitting that has 1/8" NPT threads. You can choose three configuration options: Fitting by itself Fitting with one 1/4" barb and one plug Fitting with two 1/4" barbs Once installed it tucks perfectly under your engine cover. These are perfect for running your PI switch off manifold pressure, which is much more accurate than the charge pipe, and they are also great for BOVs running the proper size line without having to drill a hole in your manifold. These do space out any sensors etc giving inaccurate readings like some of the other brands do.

Upgrade durability, flow and performance with a performance intake system. VTT is proud to announce its Modular Silicone/Billet intake system for the BMW G2X Platform with the B58TU engine. We invested many hours of testing and fitting this kit to get the best fitment, and highest quality. We are very happy with the results. Full disclosure, the factory intake system as far as the airbox is very good, but the intake tract down to the turbo, is full of twists turns, bellows, etc which can cause flow disruption. It also has a silencer which is a restriction as it bypasses air to quiet the intake sound. By removing all of these, and replacing them with our 3'-3.5' Silicone intake tube either to our 6' cone filter or the stock airbox you are removing all of those, and providing a free-flowing optimized air path from the filter or airbox to the turbo. From our testing we found up to 700WHP, the stock airbox is up to the task if stock appearance and sound is what you wish. Once you go over 700WHP, we suggest stepping up to the 6' cone with a built-in velocity stack.
