Carbon fiber is a staple in the performance world and has been incorporated into motorsports since the early 80s. Over time companies have taken it upon themselves to create new carbon products to add to your car that may have not been originally available. Autotecknic is no different. If you're looking for a carbon addition that has been made to the highest standards with premium materials, then Autotecknic's line of carbon additions is your one-stop shop. Add some carbon detail to your interior with this carbon door handle trim set in your 3-series! Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed by using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed autoclave to cure properly. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the “wet” method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon. Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced.
