This will lead to poor shifting, slipping, and ultimately, transmission failure. As per ZF's recommendations, Turner Motorsport suggests performing a full service on your 8HP automatic transmission every 50,000 miles. If your vehicle is modified and makes more power than stock or if your vehicle is regularly track-driven, we recommend shorter 30,000-mile service intervals.
