The factory BMW charge pipes are prone to cracking, as they are made from brittle plastic. Here at Turner, we sell several brands of replacement charge pipes that are typically made from cast aluminum. We recommend upgrading to hard charge pipes even on stock forced induction vehicles to avoid cracking - we've seen cracking occur on high mileage cars running stock power just as frequently as we do with high horsepower builds.
Developed specifically for the S58-powered BMW M2, M3, and M4, this direct-fit solution from MMR Performance is designed to significantly improve airflow and turbocharger efficiency, providing both performance and reliability. MMR Performance constructed the inlets using mandrel-bent 6062-T6 aluminum, with outer diameters of 70mm and 63mm for smooth, unrestricted airflow. Each part is CNC machined, mandrel-formed, and robotically TIG welded to ensure perfect fitment, consistent quality, and strength under high-boost loads. A velocity stack at the inlet helps maintain laminar airflow into the turbo, improving spool and throttle response.

Unlock the full potential of your BMW M2, M3 and M4 with the MMX G8x intake pipe set, designed to deliver uninterrupted, high-velocity airflow straight to your OEM turbo inlets. Unlike the restrictive factory corrugated pipework, our constant-diameter aluminium design eliminates turbulence and ensures a smooth, unrestricted intake path for maximum efficiency. Engineered for seamless OEM fitment, our pipework integrates flawlessly with the stock airbox and turbo inlet system while removing the airflow bottlenecks at the turbo elbow joiners. Experience sharper throttle response, improved turbo efficiency, and a refined induction sound—all with a simple, high-quality bolt-on solution.

The do88 Performance Charge Pipe System replaces the fragile factory unit with a robust, cast aluminum Y-pipe and a mandrel-bent rear turbo charge pipe. Engineered to withstand extreme thermal and mechanical stress, this direct-fit upgrade increases airflow by 15% over stock. Bench testing demonstrates a massive flow rate of 960 CFM at 150mbar (2.17 psi), compared to the restrictive OEM baseline of 835 CFM. This reduction in backpressure significantly optimizes airflow transitions and maximizes power potential.
