These gaskets fail, allowing oil to seep down onto the side of the engine and other parts, causing a mess and reducing the amount of oil in your engine. Valve covers can crack or warp over time, leading to vacuum and oil leaks. This can cause check engine lights, a rough idle, and can make a mess, often covering the attached engine accessories in oil. If your valve cover has cracked or warped, we highly recommend replacing it with this Genuine BMW valve cover assembly. This replacement valve cover comes with new gaskets, BMW p/n 11127886546 and 11128093559, and new mounting hardware to attach the valve cover to the cylinder head.
