The adjustment knobs can be removed to allow the line to pass through smaller openings, minimizing cutting. For proper installation, be sure to fully loosen the set screw, insert the cable, then securely tighten it using the provided Allen key.

Positioned between the strut mount and spring pad, the bump stop provides crucial support for your vehicle's shock absorber. Its primary role is to prevent the strut from over-compressing when encountering significant bumps or rough terrain, which could otherwise lead to damage to the strut and other suspension components.

Constructed from a soft rubber material, bump stops are designed for maximum impact absorption. However, they are susceptible to dry-rotting and general wear over time. ECS recommends replacing bump stops whenever the spring strut is disassembled for maintenance or replacement.
