The JMTC Extreme GTD47 upgrade boasts a high-pressure, high-flow, dual-scrolling turbo that features a substantial 50mm compressor wheel. This design ensures maximum boost at the top end of the RPM range, making it ideal for track, off-road, and extreme street applications. The large GTX exhaust turbine complements the setup, delivering extra boost at high RPMs and preventing torque loss compared to the stock K03 turbine.

It's important to note that to harness the additional power, a custom tune is required. Running without a tune will result in minimal to no HP gain.

Estimated Power Gains:

• Approximately 60hp with a tune, intercooler, downpipe, cold air intake, new plugs, basic maintenance, and carbon blasting/cleaning.

For engine and turbocharger reliability, JMTC recommends a 3.0" or larger downpipe/exhaust size for the GTD turbochargers. Please avoid using the stock downpipe or stock-sized catalytic converter.

The OEM intake boot can be used with the removal of the inner sleeve for N14 engines. For N18 engines, the OEM boot at the turbo connection will need to be heated and expanded slightly, which can be done with a heat gun. This turbocharger also fits AEM intake, NM Eng intake, and Forge Intake (Boot). Please note that the hose might need to be warmed and stretched over with a hose expander.

The JMTCs S45 F56 turbocharger was designed with the street and track enthusiast in mind. We started with our huge 50mm compressor and upgraded quick spool high flow turbine to give you full boost quick and a huge amount of power at the top end. For engine and turbocharger reliability reasons JMTC requires a 3" or larger exhaust (from turbo to exhaust tip, no exceptions). As well as installing a new oil line and one step colder spark plugs. Tuning is not required but will be will help the turbo and engine reach their full potential. Price Includes the core charge of $250 that will be refunded when a rebuttable core is returned to JMTC. Refurbished turbos do not come with a wastegate actuator or one that has not been tested.
