This front wheel hub with bearing mounts to the carrier. The axle is inserted into the wheel hub center then tightened to torque. This may need replaced if you hear bearing noise coming from the front wheels.

Replacement rear wheel hub assembly, with rear wheel bearing for all MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S. This wheel bearing will fit all 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 MINIs, as well as 2006 MINIs produced up to (and including) 06/2006. You can find your production date on the driver's side door jamb. If your MINI was produced 07/2006 or newer than your MINI uses the newer style 14x1.25mm wheel bolts (the same as the 2007 and newer MINI Cooper and Cooper S). This bolt secures the axle to the wheel bearing. We recommend replacing this anytime you need to replace an axle or wheel bearing, when you notice corrosion, or when the internal hex is rounded out.
