The one-time-use bolts from BMW are used to secure the fuel rail to the fuel injector brackets of B-series engines, securing the injectors tightly to the fuel rail. These should be replaced any time you remove the rail and injectors to ensure proper sealing of the injectors to the fuel rail after reinstallation.
