For those that do not wish to (or can't) alter their stock ECU with a more robust engine flash the DINANTRONICS X is a perfect alternative to satiate the craving for "more". Whichever level of engine tuning is ultimately chosen you can be sure to be pleased by the result. The Dinan Difference is possible by employing a full staff of talented engineers that are well rounded in many facets of automotive engineering and backed by a wealth of hands-on knowledge. Stemming from diverse backgrounds not only on racing teams but on standard factory production line vehicles, we have seen it all. Manipulating these signals/maps with an adept hand, all the while keeping an engine running at its best and with the most reliable power, is what Dinan is all about. Features: More Power: Max gains of up to +45 HP and +38 lb-ft TRQ (Crank); +39 HP and +34 lb-ft TRQ (Wheel). Bluetooth smart (Android and iOS Compatible). App download/pairing process is detailed within the installation instructions located under the Tech Resources dropdown below. 7 power levels and a bypass setting to choose from. Dinan Iridium Spark Plugs are an excellent upgrade for tuned, and even stock engines, where applicable.* Our spark plugs are made from Iridium - one of the strongest materials available. They last longer than other materials with higher melting points, run cooler, resist preignition, and even require less voltage to produce a strong spark. The iridium electrode with its copper core is harder and stronger than other materials, can dissipate heat more easily, and is better protected from melting, cracking, and other limitations found with standard plugs. Dinan spark plugs are great for high boost, high cylinder pressure, high cylinder temperatures, and high-power situations, and they pair nicely with a set of Dinan ignition coils, where applicable. However, they are not only for tuned and higher output vehicles that may benefit from a plug cooler than the factory heat range – they also are applicable to select non-tuned / stock vehicles as well!* *N54 & N55 COMPATIBILITY: Dinan plugs are numerous steps colder than stock on both the N54 (3 steps colder) and N55 (2 steps colder) and are suggested for tuned, high boost and/or upgraded turbo applications only. They are *NOT* suggested for non-tuned stock vehicles for these speciific applications.
