Looking to upgrade your stock clutch to something a little more beefy? The performance clutch kits from DKM are a great option to help get power to the wheels without breaking the bank. Working with Competition Clutch, DKM clutch discs and plates are constructed using quality materials to obtain greater strength and heat tolerance than OE clutches, helping to prevent wear and tear while still giving you increased toque capacity for quicker shifts and more power management.
Stage 1 Kits are best for moderately modified vehicles that want to add a single mass flywheel for quicker revs and a sportier engagement, without adversely affecting the clutch pedal's feel. *This is a 10 Spline clutch kit.*

Stock rubber flex discs allow for a slight amount of give, especially under heavy acceleration and, depending on the amount of force applied, could potentially tear or split. This slight flex/give can prevent instantaneous transfer of force to the wheels, making accelerations unpredictable, or even lead to your vehicle being stuck on the side of the track. To combat this, IRP's Performance Flex Disc was developed. Made of CNC machined aluminum, this flex disc won't actually flex, and the polyurethane bushings will only provide a enough give to dampen some vibrations and prevent damaging the transmission. This is perfect for high torque applications such a drag cars and dedicated track cars that want immediate response and long term reliability.

This clutch kit features a Heavy Duty pressure plate, a Performance Street sprung clutch disc, and an XACT Streetlite Flywheel.
The heavy duty pressure plate included offers a 20-50% clamp load increase, stock-moderate pedal feel, and heat treated diaphragms for increased strength and performance.
Next in this kit is the R6 racing clutch disc. This disc is an unsprung, rigid disc with 6 pads that is best suited for drag and road racing and handles heat better thanks to its increased surface contact area versus the 4 pad version of this disc, the R4. The R6 pads are composed of ceramic friction materials and the disc has a chome-moly hub that is heat treated for additional strength under high load engagements. Over stock, this disc is much better for faster shifting and significantly higher torque loads. Unlike the stock disc, this racing disk has a slightly shortened life span due to its rigid design and pad composition. This in turn is offset thanks to its fast, aggressive engagement for track use.
The final main component is the XACT Streetlite Flywheel. This option is the most popular thanks to it versatility for street driving and drag/track style racing, its lighter weight for increased throttle response, and its single mass design.

BMW E36 M3 Z3 XACT Flywheel Streetlite is a high-performance upgrade designed to enhance engine response and acceleration. This Streetlite flywheel is significantly lighter than the stock flywheel, offering superior durability and strength.
