The E46 chassis while an excellent piece of engineering does have its weaknesses. One of those weaknesses is where the E46 rear subframe mounts to the chassis. These mounting points on the E46 rear chassis are known to crack and fail even when only using stock bushings. Garagistic highly recommends reinforcing the rear chassis of your E46 with the Garagistic rear chassis reinforcement plate kit. What these plates do is thicken and reinforce the metal on the chassis where the rear subframe mounts. This prevents cracking and failure that is common in the E46 especially with stiffer bushings but even with the OEM factory units. We recommend doing this as preventative maintenance for any E46 chassis and as a requirement for any E46 that is to be driven in a performance or spirited manner. Once the chassis is cracked it can be extremely expensive to repair and worst case scenario it can cause the chassis to be unusable. Avoid a disaster and reinforce the rear chassis points on your E46 with the Garagistic E46 BMW chassis reinforcement plate kit! WILL THIS FIT MY CAR? Intended for ALL E46 chassis WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THIS KIT? Two front mounting point reinforcement plates (right and left) Two rear mounting point reinforcement plates (right and left) Two spacers Two square trunk block off panels Two M12x1.5 bolts

WHAT ARE REAR TRAILING ARM BUSHINGS? These rear trailing arm bushings are meant for your all-out track, autocross, or drift E30 monster; the bane of track times are any kinks your car may have in its proverbial chain. These polyurethane E30 rear trailing arm bushings are one of those upgrades that give a definite edge. The Garagistic polyurethane rear trailing arm bushings (RTABs) are a class of their own; if you've ever been in a car with polyurethane bushings, you know what performance feels like. These RTAB's are designed with specific racing classes in mind, where your more solid or bearing-style bushings are not permitted. The last thing you want when you're tracking your bimmer is any type of unwarranted after-turn motions; with polyurethane bushings, your suspension tends to react faster due to the stiffer durometer of these bushings. Since there is less wasted motion with a solid bushing, the suspension can react faster and give you more feedback. WHAT ARE THE RESULTS OF ALL THIS? The rear alignment of your E30, Z3, or 2002 stays where it's meant to during hard cornering, braking, acceleration, or any other strain it might experience. When you put your power down, it goes where it should; displacement of power is a major player in slower track times and general cornering; getting around those corners faster will make all the difference. The adjective you're looking for is planted. These BMW polyurethane rear trailing arm bushings are great for your daily driver, all the way to a track machine. Replaces OEM #33329061945 WHY WOULD I REPLACE MY REAR TRAILING ARMS? The stock rubber trailing arm bushings deflect and allow the rear semi-trailing arms to move in all kinds of unwanted directions causing an overall instability. As mentioned above, this energy displacement slows your cornering and reduces confidence. Replacing your trailing arm bushings on your E12, 2002, E30, Z3, or E21 makes for much more fun putting your power where it needs to be. After all, what good is power if you cannot put it down? Stay the course with these bushings and learn the true difference they offer. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF E30, Z3, AND 2002 POLYURETHANE REAR TRAILING ARMS? Garagistic offers the E30 polyurethane rear trailing arm bushings in two durometers: 80A and 95A. 80A is a street polyurethane compound and has great vibration dampening and noise reduction properties. The 95A units are a little stiffer than the 80A and will transmit just a bit more noise to the cabin, but also offers a slight edge in performance as a result. Includes everything needed for installation. Bushings for all 4 connecting points on the trailing arms as well as steel sleeves.

As always all Garagistic made products carry a lifetime warranty. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS KIT? Garagistic E36 Front subframe reinforcement - Holds on to engine Garagistic E36 rear shock tower reinforcement - Stops shocks from going through trunk Garagistic E36 rear chassis subframe mounting point reinforcements - Known E36 failure Garagistic E36 RTAB pocket reinforcement - Trailing arms are known to rip out in track use Garagistic E36 rear sway reinforcement - upgraded sway cause tears in subframe Garagistic E36 front shock tower reinforcement - Avoids "mushrooming" of shock mounts NOTE ON THE INSTALLATION PROCESS All of these reinforcements require welding and minor grinding depending on chassis life. In order to weld these plates in, the rear suspension, rear subframe, exhaust, and driveshaft must be removed. It is also strongly recommended that the back seat, rear interior, trunk interior, and fuel tank are removed. Batteries must be unplugged! Proper understanding of welding etiquette is required. This includes properly grinding undercoat and welding preparation to make sure welding penetration is achieved. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION SUGGESTED

BMW sheet metal at the top of the rear shock towers in E30, E36 and E46 BMW cars are a well-known weak point. The metal tends to tear over time, especially if stiffer shocks are used. This is really cheap insurance to not need to repair shock mounts in the future which is known to be costly. There is a reason BMW sells replacement shock tower replacements (41148169028) that need to be welded in. AVOID ALL OF THAT WITH THESE. These Garagistic reinforcement rear shock tower plates are made from 1/8" steel (that's 11 gauge, some of the thickest units on the market today). They can be welded in or used as-is. These come unpainted/uncoated so you can paint to match your car. Its a very "bolt-on and go" solution, and are precision machined out of a heavier metal to withstand the abuse of racing and lowering. Designed to fit on top of the factory shock mount (inside the trunk). It will distribute the load over a larger area to prevent failure. It can also be used to repair already damaged towers. Set of two which is enough to do E30s, E36s, E46s and Z3s. Price is for a pair (2 units). Enough to do 1 car.

There are the four subframe bushings that connect the subframe to the E36 chassis. These are the base for all of the rear suspension! These polyurethane E36 subframe bushings are ideal for both street and track use. Garagistic offers two durometers: 80A for the street-driven vehicle and 95A for the track day machine. These bushings provide a significant improvement over the factory rubber units but fit just like OEM. We have precision formed these bushings to ensure that they clear the weld beads and all the varied surfaces of the E36 chassis. That's how well these fit! What this does is ensure a tight fit and reduce the amount of flex experienced by the rear subframe and allow better power transfer and more consistent handling. The additional stiffness that the poly or Delrin E36 rear subframe bushings provide means that your subframe will stay in its intended location resulting in a more predictable, and planted E36. These bushings are an absolute must for E36 cars that see constant track use. These bushings provide an overall improvement during on/off throttle loading, cornering, weight transfer, etc. These subframe bushings replace OEM part numbers - 33319059301, 33319066671 Price is for all 4 E36 subframe bushings Enough to do 1 car Lifetime warranty.

The BMW E36 is a tried and true chassis that has many motorsport championships and wins under its name. However, the road going versions of the E36 had a few downfalls. Although not as prominent as the E46, the non-M E36 chassis tend to suffer from stress fractures in the rear where the subframe mount up to the chassis. E36 M3s came with the following reinforcements welded to their chassis from factory (part number 4111225649) because the BMW engineers knew this was an issue for cars that saw high load situations. For any E36 that sees track time, these reinforcements are key! Drift and grip cars can all benefit from the added rigidity of the chassis with these plates installed, not to mention the peace of mind you will have by knowing that you have a solid chassis that will not tear up after a hard day at the track. These thick plates can be welded into place to prevent cracking or tear out of the rear subframe mounting points in your E36. Do it once, do it right, and never worry about it again! NOTE: Professional installation recommended, includes welding. WHAT'S INCLUDED? There are 4 plates included in each kit that correspond to the OEM BMW part numbers: 41112256498 41002256495 41112256497 41002256496 COMPATIBILITY All E36 chassis E36 M3 already come with these reinforcements from factory
