Since 1993 Turner Motorsport has been at the forefront of performance tuning for BMWs. We show this best in our tuned Performance Packages, developed along stages for specific BMW models. Each staged Package is tuned in-house, bringing together expertise from our street tuning division, service shop, and race team. Nearly all of our Packages feature custom-tuned performance software from the best names in the business. The software is the best feature in our kits, maximizing power gains while doing nothing to affect engine reliability or driveability. In most cases, Stages are upgradeable - you can jump from one stage to another by purchasing the new parts and revised software (contact us directly about buying parts outside of the Stage). Or jump right into a higher stage by purchasing the complete kit. We'll work with you to select the appropriate parts and a matching software tune. Nearly all of our Packages have been tested and tuned on our in-house Dynapack Chassis Dyno. Our packages are designed for US-spec models only.

Full carbon fiber intake to increase flow, performance and aesthetics! Dual inlet design for maximized air flow while retaining the OEM+ fitment.

The most common N55 intake utilizes a short plastic tube and oversized cone filter; it is your job to have better taste than the common N55 owner. This carbon intake changes the whole image of the N55 engine while maintaining a flow of cool air and added induction noise. With a dual inlet design the engine bay retains its functionality while adding a second inlet to provide your engine with improved air flow and sound. To ensure the engine gets the coolest air possible the second inlet is located in the "sweet spot" on the cold side of the engine for the lowest intake air temps and most air flow possible. The cone filter features a bellmouth velocity stack filter that creates the satisfying flutter after letting of the throttle.

Our Turner Carbon Fiber Intakes start with a 3D scan of the factory intake and engine bay. Engineers use the 3D imaging of the chassis to design the intake in SolidWorks modeling software. Using a Flow Bench, the Intake is then airflow tested against the factory intake, to ensure optimal airflow improvement against stock. The final product is a beautiful and functional Carbon Fiber Intake, CAD designed for perfect integration with the OEM inlet ducting and stock mounting locations and proven to flow better than factory.

Nothing but the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer and rigorous long term product testing. Performance data metrics are collected utilizing Mustang AWD 500 SE in ground dyno and in-house Superflow SF-750 Flowbench.

At Turner, all our Carbon Fiber Intake Systems are top-of-the-line custom-engineered products that we develop in house. Our G8x Intake is no exception. Turner Carbon Fiber Intakes start with a 3D scan of the factory intake and engine bay. Our engineers use these 3D images of the chassis to design the intake in SolidWorks modeling software. Our G8x carbon fiber airbox sport entirely carbon fiber construction, with a removable carbon fiber lid for easy air filter access. Our enclosed carbon fiber intake systems are also proven to lower intake temps vs. open filter intakes. Plus, they further enhance the appearance of the engine bay, by adding more beautiful carbon fiber. The carbon airbox and lid is manufactured using 2X2 twill weave carbon fiber and protected with a gloss finish clear coat for UV resistance. The Best part? The airbox mount in the stock location with all supplied hardware included.

The oval intake tube design matches the OE look, allowing the intake to be used with the factory structural brackets that the intake goes through. However, the cross-sectional area of the Turner Carbon Fiber intake tube is greater than the stock intake tube, with a smooth interior for even better flow. The carbon intake tube is manufactured using 2X2 twill weave carbon fiber, and the intake tube is protected by a gloss finish clear coat for UV protection.

With the oval design of the intake tube, the custom air filter had to be designed for this intake system. The air filter is specially designed to seal against the carbon fiber airbox, eliminating any opening for hot air to enter the airbox! We created a conical hi-flow reusable air filter; featuring 8 ply oiled cotton gauze construction to maximize filtration efficiency. This filter features a Bellmouth (velocity stack) filter flange inlet to reduce turbulence in order to maximize flow.

Overall, the less restrictive intake design allows for more flow to the engine. The Drivers side Stock intake flows 336.2 CFM @ -15 inH20. The Drivers side Turner intake flows 374.3 CFM @ -15 inH20. This is about a 12% increase over stock The Passenger side stock intake flows 274.2 CFM @ -15 inH20.The Passenger side Turner intake flows 296.3 CFM @ -15 inH20. This is about an 8% increase over stock. Flows over 10% more air than factory intake system!

BMW has a knack for maintaining its stake as the benchmark when it comes to performance luxury vehicles, with the F8X generation being no exception. The S55 that powers the 2015–2020 BMW F8X M3, M4, and M2 Competition is dripping with technology, which includes an air-to-water intercooling system as a means of keeping cool. Where BMW’s intercooling system design was enough to help bring this generation of mid-sized M’s to their peak, we here at Mishimoto found some weaknesses that we felt obliged to address, with a power bundle consisting of our full Performance Intercooler Product suite. The Mishimoto 2015–2020 BMW F8X M3/M4 Performance Intercooler Power Pack counters the weaknesses in BMW’s design, starting with the charge pipes. Cracking under pressure or splitting at the seams are common problems with factory plastic charge pipes. These can result in less than ideal situations as you pilot your M3 or M4. We created a brand-new design for the charge pipes that inspire more confidence in handling the boost pressure. Our design features a full aluminum construction with a cast midsection designed specifically to squeeze past the intake. Our charge pipe kit also includes a pair of matte black silicone couplers for a sleek and secure connection to the intercooler. The nondescript silver box is out, and the stylish new Mishimoto Performance Air-to-Water Intercooler is in. With a new look, our design fits perfectly in the M3 and M4’s engine bay, both in terms of installation and aesthetics. The beauty is more than just skin deep. Our improved core design features a bar-and-plate core with a 29% increase in core volume, as well as a unique single-pass coolant flow layout for optimal heat transfer. Combined with our 16% increase in flow through the core, we were able to record a 12°F temperature drop in intake air temperatures while testing our full Power Pack. An air-to-water intercooling system wouldn’t be complete without the heat exchanger. When it came to BMW’s design, it was a solid foundation, but we still saw room to grow, literally. Our full aluminum design added 6” to the height of the core, equating in a 180% increase in external fin surface area and a 60% increase in core volume. With our heat exchanger in the S55’s system, we recorded a 10°F drop in global intercooler coolant temperatures and an average gain of 11 whp and 8 wtq when the full Mishimoto 2015–2020 BMW F8X Performance Intercooler Power Pack was tested on our Stage 1 tuned M3. For added security, we made sure to include our optional steel mesh stone guard with the Mishimoto Performance Heat exchanger to keep all the tubes and fins intact. We also utilized a variable fin pitch on our heat exchanger’s core for optimal cooling on DCT-equipped vehicles. Even though the F8X generation of the M3, M4, and M2 Competition was designed to pull ahead of the rest, there's still much to be desired when it comes to cooling. The Mishimoto 2015–2020 BMW F8X M3/M4 Performance Intercooler Power Pack is the perfect companion for your build, and like all of our products, is covered under the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
