This is the genuine BMW driveshaft rear CV joint for the E46 M3 and Z4 M Roadster & M Coupe. This CV joint is prone to failure and can cause driveline vibrations, which in turn can damage the center bearing and other driveshaft components. We recommend replacing the gasket and bolts when replacing the CV joint.
