Bilstein B8 Performance Plus Sport Shocks - F10 528/535/550 RWD, F06 640i 650i (W/O Adaptive Drive)
The Bilstein B8 Sport shocks are intended as replacements for the factory Sport package shocks or to be used when lowering the F10 chassis using aftermarket springs. The B8 Sport shocks are approximately one inch shorter than the standard shocks which helps keep the suspension composed with shorter springs. These performance Sport shocks are a bit stiffer than the original F10 5-series shocks which will provide a slight handling improvement without loss of ride comfort. Bilstein uses a unique and patented valving system to stiffen the shock while still keeping the ride comfortable over rough surfaces. The stiffer shocks will control body motions better than the original BMW shock absorbers which means less brake dive, body roll in corners, and squat under acceleration. These are a great handling upgrade without resorting to springs or coil overs. Bilstein shocks come with a limited lifetime warranty and install with all of the stock mounting pieces for a seamless shock replacement.

These Bilstein Sport shocks are direct replacement for the BMW factory sport shocks. These are also the recommended shock to use when lowering the F10 5-series with H&R, Eibach, or other aftermarket springs. A shorter shock is ideal because it keeps a shorter spring in place better than the original or HD shocks.
Not for cars with EDC electronically adjustable shocks unless EDC has been properly removed from the vehicle.
