The DO88 Performance Charge Cooler represents a significant thermal management upgrade, engineered specifically for high-output applications where airflow volume and heat dissipation are critical. The system utilizes a premium 102 mm (4-inch) Bar & Plate core sourced from Garrett Motorsport, featuring a high-density fin architecture that maximizes heat transfer surface area while maintaining a low pressure drop. To ensure laminar flow and uniform air distribution across this core, the assembly employs CFD-optimized cast aluminum end tanks. This manufacturing approach allows for complex internal geometries that outperform traditional CNC-machined alternatives, prioritizing internal fluid dynamics and structural integrity under high-boost conditions over mere cosmetic appeal.

Designed for the technical enthusiast, the manifold integrates advanced features such as a thermal barrier spacer equipped with custom FKM-silicone O-rings to decouple the assembly from cylinder head heat soak. The hardware is fully modular, featuring a pre-configured outlet tank for auxiliary port fuel injection, compatible with ID1050x-34-14 or Bosch EV14 Compact injectors, alongside dedicated 1/8” NPT ports for nitrous or methanol injection. Furthermore, the inclusion of integrated 3-port pads for vacuum or sensor data, along with dual 1/8” BSPT ports for coolant temperature monitoring and system bleeding, provides comprehensive diagnostic capabilities. Despite these professional-grade features, the unit is precisely clearanced to fit beneath the OEM engine cover, maintaining a factory aesthetic without compromising on its vast performance capabilities.
