One of the most common solutions for addressing an aging SMG system is converting it to a manual transmission. Manual transmissions are not only easier to maintain but also provide a more engaging driving experience and offer a broader range of upgrade options compared to the SMG system.

This kit includes the essential components needed to replace your SMG transmission with the GDS6-53BZ 6-speed transmission (sold separately) from the E90 M3.
