By replacing the factory catalytic converter with a freer-flowing piece you are picking up additional power and still keeping the exhaust gases clean. This downpipe for the B48 engine is a direct replacement for the stock downpipe and includes a metallic catalytic converter. Supersprint dyno testing revealed a 15hp/10ft-lbs increase using this downpipe and the rest of their exhaust system.
