EBC GD Series sport rotors are 100% machined in the U.K. from R90-approved blanks, with the majority cast in the EU. EBC GD Sport Rotors are high-performance brake discs designed primarily for fast street use, SUVs, and towing. They are best known for their distinctive "dimpled and slotted" pattern, which offers the performance benefits of a drilled rotor without the structural weaknesses.

Features

• Dimple Drilling: Instead of being "through-drilled" (where holes go all the way through the metal), these rotors feature blind-drilled dimples. This allows for pad degassing—the escape of gases produced during heavy braking—without creating the stress points that lead to rotor cracking in fully drilled designs.
• Wide-Aperture Slots: The wide, sweeping grooves (slots) act as scrapers to clear away dust, dirt, and water from the braking surface. They also draw cool air under the brake pad to lower temperatures by up to 100°F (38°C) during intense use.
• High-Carbon Metallurgy: Most are cast from G3000-spec grey iron, providing high thermal capacity and resistance to warping.
• Anti-Corrosion Coating: Modern GD rotors come with a Geomet® silver finish. This coating protects the entire rotor from rust; while the braking surface wears to bare metal, the hub and internal vanes remain protected and look clean behind your wheels.
