Developed through over a year of street and track testing, the Burger Motorsports Competition Cold Air Intake is engineered to deliver the ultimate combination of performance, sound, and OEM-level refinement for B58-powered BMWs.
Designed with an OEM+ aesthetic, this intake system delivers the sound and power gains of an open system. BMS’s renewable inverted cone filters provide exceptional filtration and airflow, ensuring maximum performance. Airflow restrictions are further reduced by utilizing both the factory cold air duct and an additional cold-side airbox inlet.
To combat heat soak, the system retains the factory heat shield, maintaining consistently low intake temperatures. The factory accordion hose and resonators are replaced with a smooth, free-flowing pipe, preventing turbulence and ensuring uninterrupted airflow to the turbo.
Each BMS renewable inverted cone filter includes an integrated velocity stack, a design commonly found in motorsport applications to optimize airflow volume. These filters not only outflow the factory paper elements but are designed to last the life of your vehicle.
