This option provides a cost-effective alternative to their billet valve cover while still delivering enhanced engine bay aesthetics and eliminating the failure-prone factory plastic cover, which can crack over time.
Beyond durability, this valve cover removes the problematic factory PCV system, giving you complete control over how you set up your PCV. VTT highly recommends pairing it with a catch can for optimal performance. Additionally, this cover is perfect for single turbo conversions, offering increased clearance and improved heat resistance.

Installation Notes:
- Torque Specs: Hand-tighten, warm up the engine, then re-tighten by hand. Do not overtighten, as this may crack the valve cover due to its positioning on the gasket.
- PCV System Considerations:
- Switching to an aluminum valve cover removes the factory PCV system.
- Without an external PCV setup, there’s a high likelihood of oil bypassing or smoking, especially on S55 engines.
- At minimum, we highly recommend an external low-side PCV setup to create crankcase vacuum at idle—this aids in turbo draining and overall engine performance.
- For best results, we suggest blocking the head ports to relieve pressure on the gasket and prevent boost from entering the crankcase.
