The OE crank bolts are grade 10 torque-to-yield bolts, designed for only a single use. For vehicles making stock power, the stock bolts are more than enough. Unfortunately, vehicles making more power than stock have experienced issues with the stock damper bolts coming loose and breaking, leading to engine and crank damage. 5150 AutoSport worked with ARP to create this ARP Harmonic Damper Bolt Set to address this issue. These upgraded bolts are stronger than the factory bolts and are designed to provide even repeatable torque load, preventing them from breaking and allowing them to be re-torqued as needed.

5150 AutoSport worked with ARP to create this ARP Harmonic Damper Bolt Set to address this issue. These upgraded bolts are stronger than the factory bolts and are designed to provide even repeatable torque load, preventing them from breaking and allowing them to be re-torqued as needed.

Includes:

  • 4 Harmonic Damper Bolts
  • 4 Washers

Tools required: 3/8" 12 point socket and torque wrench.

Tighten the balancer bolts to 80 ft/lbs using ARP assembly lubricant
