ARP's Cylinder Head Stud Kit is the go-to choice for engine builders looking to build a high-performance engine. 

The studs, nuts, and washers included in this kit are made from ARP's Custom Age 625+ super alloy, which is rated far superior to aircraft-quality alloy steels and goes beyond the strength of their well-known ARP2000 alloy. Custom Age 625+ hardware increases tensile strength over the ARP2000 bolts by 40-60000 psi, offering greater strength for ultra-high-boost applications. Custom Age 625+ hardware also resists fatigue longer and resists weakening due to high temperatures longer than ARP2000 hardware.

Each stud is heat-treated, centerless ground to exacting tolerances, and thread rolled. This process gives the stud significantly more strength and fatigue resistance than a stock bolt, and it ensures perfect fitment.

If you are planning on building high levels of boost and chasing extremely high horsepower, we recommend replacing the cylinder head bolts to prevent blown head gaskets. Stock head bolts can "stretch", leading the head to lift, which prevents proper sealing of the cylinder head to the head gasket and block, leading to scorching and damage.
