By utilizing a 9-blade Mar-M 246 turbine wheel—a material known for exceptional high-temperature strength—VTT ensures the GC-Mid can handle the increased EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temperatures) associated with high-horsepower B58 builds. The "Super Core" design replaces the cold side and bearing center section, plugging directly into the stock 2-port exhaust manifold. This allows enthusiasts to bypass the limitations of the OEM turbo’s internal thrust bearing and oiling system, which are often the first points of failure when pushing past 500 WHP.
