These pistons undergo a meticulous two or three-step forging process, resulting in a fine structural grain that undergoes precision CNC machining. Heat treatments enhance their tensile strength and durability, while contact reduction grooves minimize friction. Wrist pins made from chrome moly steel ensure high strength, and a 'phosphate dry lubricant' coating protects against micro-welding, augmenting lubrication on the skirt/cylinder area. Compression ratios are calculated with .030" head gasket and .010" deck, unless specified otherwise. Rings are available separately.
