Dorch Engineering offers an upgraded vacuum pump, featuring their own upgraded cam within the pump assembly. This upgraded cam allows for a 38% increase in fuel flow out of the factory High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP).

Despite the internal cam being modified, Dorch was able to make this modification without sacrificing any reliability of the vacuum pump or HPFP.

This drop-in kit fits just like the factory system, requiring no cutting, bending, crimping, etc, and does not require your BMW to run any special tuning to get up and running.

This upgrade is the only option available that will successfully pass emissions testing on OEM DME mapping, and for a fraction of the price of other traditional HPFP upgrades.

Includes a $400 refundable core charge, which will be refunded upon the return of your rebuildable core.

Fuel Flow Capacities:

  • Stock S55 HDP5 Pump
    • Fuel Flow (cc/rev): 1.527
    • E85 Power Capacity (cc/rev): 600whp
  • Stock S55 HDP5 Pump w/ Dorch Lift Kit
    • Fuel Flow (cc/rev): 2.100
    • E85 Power Capacity (cc/rev): 800+whp

Software changes are NOT required to run this upgrade. However, Dorch does have preset optimized maps available via Bootmod3 and MHD. Simply check the box for Dorch's “Lift Kit” upgrade when flashing.

NOTE: The S55 fuel system is very much limited by the injectors. In order to see the true benefits of this kit, it is highly recommended to upgrade to the larger S63 EU5 Injectors. These are readily available OEM BMW injectors proven to support 700+whp on full E85.
