Designed and engineered by ECS Tuning's in-house Engineering Team, they spec'd out a unique vacuum-actuated exhaust valve for it's integrity and durable operation. Rather than using an electronic valve, a pneumatic actuator is less prone to failures and other corresponding issues that plague electronic-driven exhaust valves. INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT Be sure to check your local laws and regulations before purchasing this exhaust cutout. This is intended for off-road use only! REQUIREMENT: Intake manifold vacuum source needed to activate the exhaust valve. You will need to tap into an external vacuum source or purchase of a boost tap, depending on engine configuration. With their compact design, only 12.5" of straight tubing and approximately 9" of available width is needed for intended installation. Flared ends allow for ease of install and minor mishaps for cut length. Please measure the outside diameter of the exhaust tubing at the intended installed location.
