Racing RP-1™ Track And Race Brake Pads - Front
$275.99

When shaved lap times and razor-sharp brake control are the goals, EBC Brakes Racing RP-1 Track Pads deliver pure, motorsport-tested execution. Designed strictly for track enthusiasts and racers, the RP-1 compound bridges the gap between raw stopping torque and ultimate pedal finesse. Offering a flat friction curve of 0.45 mu across a wide thermal range, these pads are dialed for precise trail-braking into tight corners where managing chassis balance and weight transfer is critical. Crafted in the UK from a specialized medium-torque Carbon-Kevlar material, the RP-1 addresses the common issue of modern over-assisted brake boosters by providing smooth, controllable force without premature ABS engagement. Equipped with raw stainless steel backing plates to lower caliper temperatures and integrated Nucap® NRS® retention technology, this pad setup keeps your hydraulic system cool and reliable, session after session.

Key Features

  • Dedicated race compound engineered for precision pedal feel and fine-tuned trail-braking

  • Medium-torque 0.45 mu compound prevents aggressive, sudden lockups on over-boosted pedal assemblies

  • Wide thermal resistance up to 1400°F prevents fade during intense, repeated track stints

  • Raw stainless steel backplates minimize heat conduction through the pads to protect caliper seals and fluid

  • Patented Nucap® NRS® hook system locks the friction material mechanically to the backing plate

  • Formulated to build a smooth transfer layer on rotors, minimizing disc wear and heavy debris
