Racing RP-X™ Track And Race Brake Pads - Front
$394.00

When chasing faster lap times and unrelenting braking force on track, component selection is everything. EBC Racing developed the RP-X track compound to meet the intense deceleration requirements of modern high-powered performance cars. With an aggressive initial bite and a high 0.55 mu friction rating maintained beyond 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit, this pad setup delivers fierce, predictable stopping force under severe thermal cycling. Built in Bristol, UK, every pad features raw stainless steel backing plates coupled with Nucap NRS mechanical retention hooks, completely eliminating pad separation under extreme racing loads. Designed for dedicated motorsport and track-day use on cast-iron discs, this front pad set gives drivers the pedal firmness, feedback, and thermal stamina required to dive deeper into every corner.

Key Features

  • Motorsport-grade RP-X compound developed for high-load track applications

  • Strong initial bite usable instantly from ambient temperature up to 850°C

  • Nucap NRS mechanical bonding hooks permanently secure the friction material

  • Bare stainless steel backplate design limits caliper heat soak

  • Exceptional pedal modulation and friction stability under race conditions

  • Formulated specifically for cast-iron rotor friction surfaces
