The Turner Motorsport turbo side intake gives your N54 huge potential for gains, while transforming the look of your engine bay. This kit relocates the OEM inlets and intakes to the hot side of the engine bay, for maximum performance and power gains, while relocating the coolant expansion tank to the other side of the engine bay, where the stock airbox is normally located. The factory inlets are poorly designed, and cutoff very sharply. This causes a choke point for airflow, causing the N54 to fall off in the upper range of the power band.

In deciding what size inlets to purchase, 1.75" works best for stock turbo applications. 2" inlets are intended for upgraded turbo housings

We start with a CAD designed Intake System that eliminates OEM inlet ducting and airbox, for increased performance and a cleaner engine bay.

 The Silicone Inlet Hoses are designed with a smooth contour for unobstructed flow compared to the OE inlet tubes. The inlet hoses are constructed of 5-Ply reinforced silicone for improved durability. Our silicone offers reduced thermal conductivity as well as improved resistance to ozone and UV degradation, for improved performance and durability. Normally an engine out install, the silicone inlet for the rear turbo is designed in two pieces for ease of installation. The hoses are coupled together using a 6061-T6 black anodized adapter. 

The turbo side intake kit also features custom designed exhaust & intake heat shields, and air filter heat shield. The intake & exhaust manifold heat shield are a one piece design manufactured from 12 gauge 5052 aluminum. The intake heat shield is wrinkle black powder coated for increased durability and a great look in the engine bay! This also provides a barrier to minimize the amount of hot air pulled from the engine bay.

Supplied pre-cut DEI reflect-a-gold film can be placed on the outside of the heat shield for increased heat resistance. The exhaust heat shield is finished in a Type II clear anodizing for increased durability. It also provides mounting for the boost solenoid/pressure converter. 

The Vacuum Reservoir Bracket is manufactured from 8 gauge 1018 steel, and wrinkle black powder coated for increased durability and a great look in the engine bay. It relocates vacuum reservoirs from passenger side to driver’s side of the engine bay.

The snorkel ties into everything by ducting cool air from the stock inlets at the front of the car and minimizes the amount of hot air pulled from the engine bay. The snorkel is a one piece design manufactured from 12 gauge 5052 aluminum. Snorkel is wrinkle black powder coated for increased durability and great look in the engine bay.  

Finally, the Air Filters are conical hi-flow reusable air filters; featuring 8 ply oiled cotton gauze construction to maximize filtration efficiency. They also sport a Bellmouth (velocity stack) filter flange inlet to reduce turbulence in order to maximize flow.
