Product Details
The E39 M5 Driveline Refresh Kit replaces high-wear tunnel components to eliminate drivetrain deflection, shifter slop, and fluid leaks.
Softened mounts, worn linkages, and cracked flex discs cause driveline clunks under S62 torque. The E39 M5 refresh package supplies fresh mounting hardware, carrier bushings, selector shaft seals, and driveline components to resolve chassis clunking and restore bolt-action shifting precision.
- Mounts & Fasteners: 2 OEM rubber transmission mounts with 4 M8 self-locking collar nuts.
- Shifter Linkage Rebuild: Getrag 420G selector shaft seal, ball cup, oval carrier bushings, rear arm mount, coupler with foam insert, dowel pin, retaining clips, and yellow shims.
- Driveline & Hydraulics: LK 110mm guibo with 6 M14x1.5 lock nuts, center support bearing (4 to 6 mm forward preload), and FTE clutch slave cylinder.
- Service & Fluid Specs: 2 quarts Red Line MTL/D4 ATF blend, 2 quarts Fully Synthetic Hypoid Limited Slip Differential Fluid (75w-140)
Turner Tip: Loosen the fill plug before draining to avoid stranding the vehicle with an empty gearbox.
