OEM ZF Automatic Transmission Service Kit - GA8HP60-MH-XMH - BMW G2X G60 G70 G45 G05 G06 G07

Product Details

Despite the factory "lifetime fill" myth, transmission maintenance is critical to your BMW’s longevity. Over repeated heat cycles, automatic transmission fluid thermally degrades and shears, contaminating the filter and sensitive valve body solenoids with friction material and sludge. Left unserviced, degraded fluid leads to erratic shifting, clutch slip under load, and catastrophic gearbox failure. Regular fluid and filter changes preserve crisp, lightning-fast shift response and protect your transmission from costly premature wear.

Kit Includes:

• OEM ZF Pan & Filter
• OEM ZF Installation Hardware
• OEM ZF Drain & Fill Plugs
• 7 Liters of ZF LifeGuard Hybrid 2 Fluid

NOTE: Depending on the model, an additional liter of fluid may be necessary if you are draining your oil cooler or removing the valve body.

As per ZF's recommendations, Turner Motorsport suggests performing a full service on your 8HP automatic transmission every 50,000 miles. If your vehicle is modified and makes more power than stock or if your vehicle is regularly track-driven, we recommend shorter 30,000-mile service intervals. This will ensure your transmission fluid is free from contamination, which will help extend the life of internal transmission components like clutch packs and solenoids.
