Like all of our Turner Motorsport products, our B58 intake was CAD-Designed in-house to give you the best performing, most beautiful intake we could possibly imagine for your B58 powered BMW. The best part? Our design seamlessly integrates with OEM ducting and stock mounting locations to give you a simple install and an OEM+ fit and finish. We believe this is the way the B58 engine bays should have come from the factory. It’s time to ditch all that plastic.
Our higher flow filter and intake design reduced post filter pressure by 0.2 psi over stock, allowing for gains across the entire RPM range - this reduced pressure drop also results in less stress on your B58’s turbo. Our enclosed intake also lowers your intake temperatures by 13 degrees over running an open intake.

The Turner Motorsport G20/G22 B58 intake truly shines as the cherry on top of your engine bay, all while perfectly integrating with OEM inlet ducting and stock mounting locations. Turner's enclosed intake offers a carbon fiber lid that reduces intake temps up to 13 degrees compared to running an open intake. Flows 8% more air than factory intake system!

- Carbon Fiber Intake Tube
Intake tube design replaces upper ducting of turbo inlet while maintaining a constant cross-sectional area from the MAF, with gradual area transition to fit into the turbo inlet pipe without kinks or sharp bends.
MAF scaling matches factory intake.
MAF sensor flange is machined from 6061-T6, black anodized and bonded to the carbon inlet tube ensuring the sensor is in the center of the inlet tube for accurate measurement of temperature and airflow.
Integrated carbon flange allows secure mounting of the inlet tube to the heat shield.
Carbon inlet tube is manufactured using 2X2 twill weave carbon fiber for a great look in the engine bay.
Inlet tube is protected by a gloss finish clear coat for UV protection.
- Heat Shield
Manufactured from 12 gauge 5052 aluminum.
Wrinkle black powder coated for increased durability and a great look in the engine bay.
Provides a barrier to minimize amount of hot air pulled from engine bay.
Mounts in stock location with supplied hardware.
- Carbon Fiber Heat Shield Cover
Manufactured using 2X2 twill weave carbon fiber and protected with a gloss finish clear coat for UV resistance to match the intake tube.
- Air Filter
Conical hi-flow reusable air filter; featuring 8 ply oiled cotton gauze construction to maximize filtration efficiency.
Bellmouth (velocity stack) filter flange inlet to reduce turbulence in order to maximize flow.
- Less restrictive intake design allows for more flow than the stock intake.
At -15.0 inH20 the stock intake flows 410.1 cfm.
At -15.0 inH20 the Turner intake flows 445.0 cfm.
This is about a 8% gain in flow capacity.
Special care instructions:
If clear coat gets nicked, seal the area with clear coat touch up
To maintain UV resistance and protect the finish, wax with high-quality carnauba wax
