Subject: Ho Boy..This is a GREAT upgrade

As many of you know, my '95 M3 just got outta the shop after spending 3.5
months there after the Bambi-jaywaking incident wayyyyy back in November.
In the very best UUC tradition I continued to upgrade my car - without
having it (am I sick or what?). How ya do this??? Simple. Ya collect
upgrade parts and then have a HUGE pile to install for later. One of the
things in the pile was a Euro Intake System (only for the OBD I '95 M3's)
which features a custom-mapped Jim Conforti Chip with a Euro Air Mass
Sensor, Steve Brown Adapter and assorted plumbing. You can buy the kit
from Will Turner for about $ 900. Easy Install.

Well, I put this bad boy in the car tonight, *2 Rolling Rock Job*, went for
a test ride and did an immediate !!!!OH-MAI-GAWD!!! Whereas a standard Jim
C. Chip merits a "hey - that's better", this mod rocks you back in the seat
and I swear I musta said "Holy Crappola, Batman!" about three times on test
blasts down the road. Dyno tests show this puts out about 22 to 30 hp - I
believe it.

So when you "95 M3 guys/gals are looking for serious cheap horsepower, skip
the silly cat-back pipes, various air cleaner mods claiming absurd
increases, throttle bodies and the like. Save your pennies and GET THIS
KIT. DO IT. You'll love me for it .

If running better times in the 1/4 mile is your main objective, I would
recommend getting the TMS 3.46 R&P with the 40% limited slip. The Euro HFM
setup is very nice and it helps out a lot in regular/performance driving,
however in a 1/4 mile run where your car will probably never see below 4500
RPMs (assuming you shift at very close to redline), the 3.46 will probably
help out more. Of course, this means that you run higher RPMs cruising on
the highway... btw, if you prepare an M3 well enough (i.e. weight
reduction), even a stock one can run 14 sec flat, maybe better.

JMHO and YMMV,

Guys, I just put the chip and the cold air intake on my 95 ///M3, took me about an hour to do both.  Ridiculous is all I can say, I love it. I took the car out and had so much fun that within 30 minutes I was pulled over and ended up getting a ticket for failure to obey a highway sign (speeding essentially) J Anyway, I can notice a difference in all gears especially when moving at about 70 and I stomp the throttle. Didn’t think my ///M3 could get any better. Thanks for a great product.

Doug,

I finished installing the Eurosport Intake (with Euro HFM) and the TMS Chip
in my 95 M3 and I am very impressed with the results. The installation was
straightforward and looks very professional. All the parts fit perfectly
and the instructions were clear and useable, although the installation was
quite easy. The chip installation was also very straightforward.

I noticed an immediate difference in the car on startup and the performance
boost is substantial. Having that extra 30HP has really changed the overall
character of the car and its performance, and I think the chip works
particularly well with the lightened flywheel I installed last year. Off
the line torque is great and the car pulls strongly in every gear. It's a
great product and at about $33 per horsepower, it's also a great deal.
Plus, my gas mileage increased by about 1 MPG.

Keep up the good work.
