Sachs Performance Clutch Kits are designed for sport and race applications, delivering higher torque transmission without succumbing to wear and tear and fading over extended periods of abuse.
Sachs Performance Clutch Kits include the following upgraded components:
Performance Pressure Plate - Increased clamping force and resistant to wear
Performance Clutch Disc - Allows for higher clamping force, higher torque transmission, and better clutch engagement at higher RPM’s
Performance Throwout Bearing - Designed for increased spring pressure and higher RPM function
These kits are available with two different clutch discs, Organic and Metallic. Organic clutch discs are perfect for both performance street and light-moderate track applications. Metallic are designed for specifically for full-time track use such as endurance racing, clubsport, autocross, hill climbing and 1/4 mile racing. The FX350 System uses the Power Plus I Pressure Plate with Clutch Masters New Formula Button disc. This clutch is designed for the street enthusiast or weekend racer who plans to abuse their vehicle on an occasional basis and have a spirited driving style.
The FX350 clutch system has a higher holding capacity than a segmented Kevlar lining without compromising the street friendly characteristic Clutch Masters is known for. For year’s enthusiast have had to compromise durability for drivability and vise versa, however with Clutch Masters New Formula button we have closed the gap between these two tradeoffs.

Stock rubber flex discs allow for a slight amount of give, especially under heavy acceleration and, depending on the amount of force applied, could potentially tear or split. This slight flex/give can prevent instantaneous transfer of force to the wheels, making accelerations unpredictable, or even lead to your vehicle being stuck on the side of the track. To combat this, IRP's Performance Flex Disc was developed. Made of CNC machined aluminum, this flex disc won't actually flex, and the polyurethane bushings will only provide a enough give to dampen some vibrations and prevent damaging the transmission. This is perfect for high torque applications such a drag cars and dedicated track cars that want immediate response and long term reliability.
