Since 2010, Advanced Auto Fabrication has been producing and developing both parts and full fledged race cars. Their knowledge base covers a wide range of vehicles both domestic and imported. In the specific case of BMW, the team at AAF has a particular affinity for building and designing components for BMW race cars. AAF's M20 oil level block off plate for the E30 eliminates the OEM oil level sensor. On the M20 there is an oil level sensor on the oil pan that can be deleted in dedicated motorsports cars. This will allow you to remove a small bit of weight by getting rid of the oil level sender and associated wiring which goes all the way up to the overhead panel. By deleting the plug what you are also doing is eliminating another point of failure and clutter in the engine bay. AAF's Oil Pressure Sensor Relocation Kit allows for an aftermarket low pressure switch as well as oil pressure sensor, or two 1/8' NPT pressure sensors to be installed. This can allow a gauge or light to be on the dash and still log oil pressure in a data logger. This kit also moves the oil pressure sensor away from the engine and onto the chassis (or any other spot) where is it much easier to access, or install larger size diameter sensors. Fits all M20 Engines. Features: 4AN Stainless Steel Braided Line Banjo Bolt and Fitting (installs onto block) 3 Way 1/8' NPT Tee Fitting, for hose from block and 2 sensors. Note: This kit does not come with sensors – the factory low pressure switch can NOT be used. An aftermarket 1/8″ NPT low pressure switch can be used with the factory wire.

This oil pan baffle by AAF keeps the oil at the pick up better than others on the market. Baffling the oil pan is extremely important. Under racing and track conditions, oil can move in the oil pan enough to cause extended moments of oil starvation. This can cause premature, and in some cases immediate, engine failure. The pan features a tight fit to keep oil from exiting under braking or cornering. Ten gated holes control oil slosh in the sump. A must have for all track cars. **Note: welding is required to install. Photos of installed baffle for reference.
