Its a good idea to replace your drain plug every time you change your oil. This ensures a leak free seal, and avoids rounding and stripping of threads. Turner Motorsports carries OE BMW plugs as well as magnetic plugs that attract and hold harmful metal shavings away from vital engine parts.
Metal drain plug featuring a magnet that traps ferrous metal suspended in your oil. These magnetic drain plugs trap tiny particles that are unable to be caught by your oil filter, leaving you with a cleaner engine, and over time, saving your bearings and oil pump from unneeded wear.
