BMW Engine Parts for BMW 7 Series E38 (1995-2001)

This is an OEM INA Idler Pulley, also known as the roller pulley or deflection pulley. The idler pulleys are known to be the primary sources for 'belt squealing'. The pulley is also encased in rubber which will crack over time. If left without service the rubber could fail completely, chucking the belt and leaving you stranded. Replacement is a very simple procedure and can be done anytime the fan is off the engine (belt replacement, water pump service, alternator replacement, etc). OEM replacement for BMW part # 11281720039 and 11281715630.

If you're not sure if your Vanos seals are bad then the only question you need to answer is if you've replaced them. Every unit from the factory came with the same failure prone o-rings and seals, even the re-manufactured units you can still get today. The only real fix is by replacing the seals and o-rings with material that is built to last in the oiled, extreme temperature environment found in these kits.

A premium product replacement with easy to follow instructions makes rebuilding your Vanos unit a must. Even thought the power loss is barely felt it's the opposite result once you replace the seals, every car that gets rebuilt ends up wowing the customer and all of them saying they didn't realize what they lost.

There are a number of symptoms that will plague your car as a result of these failing seals such as erratic idle, engine hesitation, stalling, and increased fuel consumption to name a few. If you've been chasing down any of these symptoms with no fix then this could be your issue.

This kit includes all the right seals and tensioner's for a thorough top end rebuild, this is the best way to rebuild the top half of your engine so you don't have to dig in there again and you can just enjoy the drive.

Timing chain guides are a main failure point in the otherwise bulletproof M62. Common symptoms of failure include excessive vibration or “slap” from the timing chain, and the possibility of plastic particles throughout the oil. Symptoms typically begin to surface between 80,000 and 100,000 miles. If left untouched, the issue can compound itself so far as to allow the timing chain to jump out of time, leaving you with a potentially damaged head and larger repair costs.

This kit has been assembled using genuine BMW components. From new timing chain guides to a replacement oil pan drain plug, this kit has you covered to assure that all the needed parts are on hand and ready to install.

Kit includes:

• All required Gaskets and seals

• Camshaft timing chain tensioners with retaining clips

• Timing chain chain tensioner for crankshaft to camshaft with sealing washer

• Timing chain guide rails

• Water pump hose o-rings

• Fan shroud rivets

• Oil separator valve

• Timing chain – Crankshaft to camshafts without master link

• Cylinder head timing chains

• 2 Gallons BMW coolant

• Replacement oil filter with associated o-ring.

• 8 quarts BMW High Performance 5w30 Synthetic oil with replacement drain plug

When doing any sort of repair or maintenance there is no replacement for genuine factory parts. Turner Motorsport carries the Genuine BMW brand with pride and has the parts you need to complete your next project with confidence.
