Here at Turner Motorsport, we've loved the E39 540i for a long time. Our engineering team gathered around one and thought, "how can we make this better?" Muffler deletes are among the most drastic improvements an enthusiast can make to his or her M62 powered vehicle. BMW V8s sound incredible without the factory muffler. We wanted to offer an extremely high quality, 304 stainless steel muffler delete that you could install yourself - so we did. Our Turner Muffler deletes are CAD designed in-house, ensuring that each unit has integrated hangers and is mandrel bent to precisely fit in the factory exhaust location. Additionally, we added a turn down if you aren't interested in aftermarket tips - however, there's a cut line to add tips as well.

The Supersprint Race mufflers let that raucous S62 growl come through! These mufflers use a smaller body with a lot less restriction for better flow and to save weight. These mufflers are tuned for the M5's V8 and are good for a deeper sound and are louder than stock or the regular Supersprint mufflers. And the Supersprint x-pipe for an even more aggressive sound and a small increase in horsepower!

Supersprint "F1 Race" mufflers are the best route for letting the S62 rip! These small and lightweight mufflers are among the loudest and most aggressive exhausts on the market with a finely-tuned exhaust note that accentuates the M5's V8 nicely, especially on downshifts. Other cars will take note when this exhaust is around. Combine these with the Supersprint X-Pipe for even more volume. These mufflers slip on in place of the stock mufflers for a more aggressive sound and sportier appearance. The F1 Race mufflers also use 90mm tips (20mm larger than the standard Race mufflers).

Supersprint sport exhaust for the E39 combines a pleasing tone with subtle appearances for an elegant exhaust upgrade. This Supersprint piece is the rear muffler with a connecting pipe to the stock exhaust. The muffler is a sport straight-through design leading to moderate power and torque gains along with a sporty sound. The new exhaust note is a little throatier and with more burble than the stock exhaust. All E39 fitment note: the fitment of this muffler is designed for the stock E39 rear bumper. The tips will sit below the bumper line. Supersprint produces a different muffler for the 540i M-Sport rear bumper (Supersprint #785926).
525i/530i fitment note: the Supersprint section 2 resonator-delete is used for all 6-cylinder E39 but the factory center resonator is different for the 525i/530i models. Instead of a slip-fit or clamp-on connection it must be welded at an existing seam on the exhaust. The whole exhaust must be removed for this installation. Refer to this image for an illustration. This does not apply if you're only installing the muffler (with small connecting pipe).
