Here at Turner Motorsport, we've loved the E39 540i for a long time. Our engineering team gathered around one and thought, "how can we make this better?" Muffler deletes are among the most drastic improvements an enthusiast can make to his or her M62 powered vehicle. BMW V8s sound incredible without the factory muffler. We wanted to offer an extremely high quality, 304 stainless steel muffler delete that you could install yourself - so we did. Our Turner Muffler deletes are CAD designed in-house, ensuring that each unit has integrated hangers and is mandrel bent to precisely fit in the factory exhaust location. Additionally, we added a turn down if you aren't interested in aftermarket tips - however, there's a cut line to add tips as well.

Turner designed Rear Muffler Delete - made of T304 stainless steel, 1.25mm wall thickness, CNC mandrel bent 2.75" tubing for straight-through exhaust gas routing
Tig-welded exhaust hangers that fit into the factory location for direct fitment
Stainless steel Accuseal exhaust clamps are included for a leak-proof seal
Large radius bends throughout provide smooth transitions for the best flow possible

The Dinan stainless steel axle-back exhaust is designed to compliment the E39 M5, rather than offend the driver and passengers with harsh exhaust notes. Dinan engineers their exhausts to sound great and be a natural fit to the character of the car as well as produce more power and torque. Dual 3.5" stainless tips engraved with the Dinan logo fill out the rear valence (choose either polished or satin black tips). Annoying highway drone has also been engineered out of the system. Dinan uses only 304 stainless steel in their systems for the maximum corrosion protection. This system replaces the factory rear mufflers at a pre-determined cut point on the stock exhaust, which makes for an easy installation and you can reinstall your original mufflers using factory hardware. Detailed installation instructions are included.
