BMW Suspension Parts for BMW E60 M5 S85 5.0L

This sealed ball joint is in the lower rear outer control arm (swing arm) and is the primary weak point of the rear suspension. This one ball joint takes a lot of twisting and deflection so this is usually the first bushing to wear out. When it does, you have a 'loose' or disconnected feeling in the rear alignment. You can restore your car's stability by replacing this ball joint and also evaluating the other components in the rear suspension (upper wishbones and guide links). This part is made by Lemforder, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, and is a perfect fit and excellent quality. A new snap ring is included for your convenience. Dinan sway bars are carefully engineered to match the driving dynamics of each BMW chassis. Dinan's research and development finds the ideal balance between improved handling while maintaining a comfortable ride. This set has been fine-tuned for the E90/E92 chassis to reduce bodyroll, improve steering and turn-in response, and reduce understeer. The front bar is hollow tubular steel for light weight with adjustable ends to dial in the handling characteristics. The rear bar is non-adjustable. These are the same sway bars used in Dinan's Stage 1 suspension and work best with Dinan shocks and springs or a similar sport suspension and wider rear tires.

This front left sway bar / swaybar link fits BMW E60 525i 528i 530i 545i 550i M5 - with either the standard front sway bar or the "Dynamic Drive" sway bar. This does NOT fit any all wheel drive or Xi models.
